June 25th- Liv

Hello CUS friends and family!

My name is Liv and I’ll be writing our first blog installment. Although we’ve been on our trip since May 29th, things are just calming down for us as everyone who had cover (including me!) has returned.

Today, the team biked from Farmington, Missouri to Eminence, Missouri. It was a rough day–– my weather app says it felt like 111 degrees! Even though I was just in the support van, I was sweating a ton.

Because it was so hot and hilly, only two riders made it all the way to the host before 4pm, but everyone gave it their all and had an awesome day on the road.

We ended our day with some of us taking a trip to a local river to swim, a team meeting, and a trip to a local ice cream place!
